From a very young age, Natalie DiStefano knew she had a talent for makeup artistry. A passionate dancer, she learned the art of makeup application through her dance performances, where she could be found doing the makeup for all of her young peers in preparation for a big show. A New Jersey-native, Natalie graduated from Joe Blasco Makeup Center in LA before moving to NYC at age 19 to hone her skills further. She quickly befriended up and coming fashion designers and photographers, who employed her talents for a multitude of photo shoots. From there, Natalie began assisting other makeup artists as well as freelancing on her own, cultivating her innate talent for making things beautiful. Before long, the city took notice of Natalie's natural abilities and she's been a fixture on the makeup scene since, painting the faces of New York City's who's who. She's worked with Helmut Lang, Sanctuary and Ralph Lauren, as well as a range of publications, including Cosmopolitan Style, The New York Times, Time, The Knot and Elemental. Known for her soft touch, Natalie specializes in a creating a clean, more beautiful version of you, enhancing one's natural features with softer, more natural looking makeup. "There's so much you can do with makeup. If you don't feel good about yourself one day, it's so simple to add a little eyeliner or lip gloss to immediately boost your self-confidence, and in turn, you present yourself better to the world," says Natalie. "This 'gift' of allowing people to feel better about themselves and meeting new, unique individuals is truly rewarding."
