Moving over four years ago from his hometown of New Orleans, Josh pursued a career in styling when he realized he had a knack for cutting hair and before long, he was the go-to guy on his baseball league. Josh soon made his way to New York City, where he began working at the famed Oscar Blandi Salon. "My cuts focus on taking my clients morning to evening with ease. They can wear their cut conservatively in the morning and funky for the night out, uptown and downtown. Whatever they chose, their cut can be versatile to their liking," says Josh.
Ultimately, Josh likes to work with his clients' own personal style to create cuts that are the wash 'n' wear kind - simple, textured cuts that grow out wonderfully and allow for many options. Josh says that, "seeing my clients smile and having a job that allows me to express my creativity is what wakes me up every morning - it's addictive." Josh's work has been seen in various fashion shows for Olympus Fashion Week, Parsons School of Design, Operation Smile, Ford Model Of the Year and more, along with national magazines. He also has a large socialite and male following.
