Canadian bred make-up artist Jordy Poon made his way for the Big Apple to broaden his horizons, having conquered the city of Vancouver as a successful makeup artist. Establishing his career in make-up artistry, Jordy found himself immersed in the study of make-up application at a very young age. This self-taught artist discovered he had a talent for creating gorgeous faces; "I love pretty, ornate things - to be able to put something beautiful together. I tell my clients that make-up is about individuality and suitability. If it doesn't suit the person who is wearing it, then it is the wrong look. I love educating my clients on what works for them, accentuating one specific thing on your face, whether is be the brows, the lip or lashes. My forte is individuality." Freelancing for various advertising campaigns and fashion editorials, Jordy remains at the forefront of his industry, while catering to his loyal clientele at the Rita Hazan Salon. He is a frequent contributor to major fashion and beauty magazines including: Interview, Italian Vanity Fair, New York, Nylon, Seventeen, Shape and Vogue Brazil, has made several broadcast appearances, including MTV's TRL and has a red carpet following.
